Scorpion Well
This project situated 10km of the 2Moz Darlot-Centenary
gold mine was initially targeted for gold. First pass
drilling identified a package of ultramafic rocks with
characteristics suggesting a komatiitic sequence with a
channel structure on the footwall, a setting favourable
for nickel sulphide accumulations similar to those at
Kambalda. A planned VTEM survey to test the contact zone
of the interpreted channel has been deferred pending
efforts to farm out this property.
Top Well
Situated 25km NE of the Mt Alexander nickel sulphide
discovery, this area is considered to be underlain by
similar rocks and to be nickel prospective. First pass
drilling has confirmed ultramafic rocks and identified
targets for further drilling.
Mt Remarkable
Geochemical sampling of aeromagnetic anomalies and interpreted ultramafic
rocks has outlined a 1,500m-long coincident Ni-Cu
anomaly and several gold anomalous areas warranting
drill follow up.
