Situated 25km south of the 1Mtpa mothballed
Fortnum gold treatment plant, a 2.4km x 500m
bedrock gold anomaly has been identified at
Wilthorpe overlying an extensive sheeted vein
and stringer system.
Systematic RAB drilling of this large anomaly
has so far identified two zones with resource
potential at Harrods Central and Harrods South.
RC drilling of these two zones identified
resources totalling 61,600ozs of gold.

Inverse distance squared method 0.8g/t cut-off. High
values cut to 20g/t at Harrods Central, 15g/t at Harrods
South.
The information that relates to mineral resources is
based on information compiled by Lynn Widenbar BSc, MSc,
DIC, MAusIMM, employed by Widenbar & Associates who are
consultants to Meteoric Resources NL. Lynn Widenbar has
sufficient experience which is relevant to the style of
mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration
and to the activity which he is undertaking to qualify
as a Competent Person as defined in the 2004 edition of
the ’Australasian Code of Reporting of Exploration
Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves.’ Lynn
Widenbar consents to the inclusion of this information
in the form and context in which it appears in this
summary.
A concept study of the identified resources indicates
potential for a modest open pit mining operation.
Developments options are being examined.

Drilling at the Rutherfords Find prospect, some 8km east
of the 1.4Moz Copperhead gold mine has intersected
encouraging gold grades with a best intercept of 4m at
10.1g/t from 71m. The drilling highlighted the
potential of this under explored area. Geochemical
sampling has identified a new 600m-long gold anomaly
near Rutherfords. A second weaker anomaly may represent
a strike extension to Rutherfords. |
