Tibooburra
Meteoric’s initial RAB/aircore drilling programme has confirmed high-grade gold mineralisation over a 300m strike length open along strike at the New Bendigo prospect occurring within a 1.2km-long zone of sericite-altered sediments with old gold diggings. Intersections include 20m @ 5.22g/t Au from 8m and 4m @ 11.33g/t Au from 36m to end of hole, highlighting the potential of this area to host significant shallow gold mineralisation. A parallel set of old diggings at New Bendigo remains to be tested.

MAt the Kink prospect 6km south of New Bendigo shallow drilling has intersected previously unrecognised gold mineralisation below shallow cover. Both the New Bendigo and Kink prospects occur in proximity to a regional structure, the New Bendigo Fault, which extends for some 40km within the project tenements.
The Geological Society of NSW has drawn similarities of the style, timing and setting between the Tibooburra goldfield and the Victorian goldfields. Very little systematic gold exploration has been completed at Tibooburra with only two of the numerous vein systems drilled previously and no drilling below 60m. Meteoric has commenced a 6,000m follow-up RAB/aircore programme at New Bendigo and Kink testing a combined 6.8km strike length. This drilling programme is anticipated to provide immediate targets for deeper RC drilling.

Situated 25km south of the 1Mtpa mothballed
Fortnum gold treatment plant, a 2.4km x 500m
bedrock gold anomaly has been identified at
Wilthorpe overlying an extensive sheeted vein
and stringer system.
Systematic RAB drilling of this large anomaly
has so far identified two zones with resource
potential at Harrods Central and Harrods South.
RC drilling of these two zones identified
resources totalling 61,600ozs of gold.

The information that relates to mineral resources is
based on information compiled by Lynn Widenbar BSc, MSc,
DIC, MAusIMM, employed by Widenbar & Associates who are
consultants to Meteoric Resources NL. Lynn Widenbar has
sufficient experience which is relevant to the style of
mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration
and to the activity which he is undertaking to qualify
as a Competent Person as defined in the 2004 edition of
the ’Australasian Code of Reporting of Exploration
Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves.’ Lynn
Widenbar consents to the inclusion of this information
in the form and context in which it appears in this
summary.
A concept study of the identified resources indicates
potential for a modest open pit mining operation.
Developments options are being examined.
