Meteoric Resources is an iron, gold and base
metal explorer with a portfolio of projects in
Western Australia and the Northern Territory
ranging from grass roots to resource definition
stage.
Originally, Meteoric was the result of a
spin-out of gold and copper-gold assets from
Image Resources under a joint venture agreement
and listed on ASX in 2004. Meteoric has earned
100% of Image’s interest at Wilthorpe (Image
interest 90%) and Warrego North (Image interest
100%), Image retaining a 1% gross royalty in
these projects. Meteoric has also earned a 30%
in interest in the Scorpion Well and Mt
Remarkable nickel prospects under a second joint
venture with Image.
Meteoric has a 100% interest in iron projects at
Coorara and Robinson Range which are becoming an
increasing focus for the company following
encouraging exploration results. In addition,
Meteoric continues to enhance its
iron-oxide-copper-gold prospects in the
unexplored Webb area of the West Arunta region.
